Dr. M. K. Bhan

Director General Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR), Dr. G.N. Qazi has dedicated the newly established Kangaroo Mother Care Unit of Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital to the memory of Dr MK Bhan. The unit is named "Dr M K Bhan Memorial KMC Unit." This unit has been established in collaboration with the Society for Applied Studies and is based on their research that shows the efficacy of Kangaroo Mother Care in supporting low birth weight babies.
